Argomere is a medieval Europe analog with an Ancient Greek pantheon (although the GM is free to change this, of course). So, imagine a western world in which the Greek gods were never supplanted by the Roman gods, which were in turn never supplanted by Christianity. The question becomes “how would the medieval world have worshiped and viewed the children of the Titans?”
The gods/goddesses of the Argomeran Pantheon are all very self-absorbed and vengeful, making them hard to pin down when it comes to traditional alignments. Virtually all these immortal beings have both “evil” and “good” devotees and end up granting them all divine favor and magic as long as they follow their basic tenants and respect their domains. The following list is not exhaustive:
The faithful of Argomere hold to the tradition of placing a special coin known as an obol under the tongue of a recently deceased individual so their spirit may pay Charon the ferryman of the underworld. Most obols are copper (and worth a single cp), but they can be of any precious metal. Regular coins are a suitable substitute but are more susceptible to being stolen. However, stealing obols is so taboo that even grave robbers ignore them (although they will commonly replace a gold or platinum obol with a copper coin). The use of obols is so ubiquitous throughout the Northern Kingdoms that even non-believers observe the practice.
