Summary: A human kingdom ruled by King Florin Alendell. House Alendell has ruled Scarwick for centuries and prospers from being a trade hub between the other Northern Kingdoms. This kingdom is one of the safest in all of Argomere, insulated by the other kingdoms from the monsters and humanoid tribes that dwell on the frontiers of civilization. Nevertheless, Scarwick maintains a large royal army and well-disciplined levee militias. Additionally, every community over 500 people is required to maintain fortified walls. Scarwick also has a strong tradition of independence and helps maintain order throughout the Northern Kingdoms by hiring out its armies to neighbors who are threatened by ambitious rulers looking to expand their kingdoms. Thus, overt aggression is tamped down, and Scarwick has been instrumental in preventing numerous tyrants from consolidating the Northern Kingdoms into a single empire.
