Elfhaven

Summary: The birthplace of the elves of Argomere. A mighty kingdom ruled over by King Thalyndel. This large valley, nestled in the Frostgate Mountains, enjoys moderate weather year-round thanks to a powerful spell that may predate even the elves. It is rumored that there is an immensely tall mountain called “Godspire” somewhere east of Elfhaven that contains a portal to Mount Olympus at its peak.

Capital: Elfhaven, or “Aelfkoti” in elvish

Population: 80% elf, 8% human, 4% halfling, 2% other

Alignment: Chaotic good

Governance: Absolute monarchy, ruled by King Thalyndel and the Dread Sorceress Queen Faelyn

Economy: Farming, art, weaving, metalworking

Law: The legal system is byzantine and alien to humans. Most crimes do not have preordained punishments and the Lords of Justice assign consequences based on the circumstances. Many judgements involve magical punishments fitting the crime.

Military: Dozens of castles, mountain strongholds, and redwood redoubts. A large royal army and vast reserve forces of civilian archers.

Religion: The elf creator-god Lethendil Dásos and Artemis
