Summary: A large and prosperous human kingdom. The citizens of this kingdom are proud of its heritage and industriousness. The kingdom is forced to maintain a strong military due to frequent incursions from the goblinoid tribes that infest the Frostgate Mountains. The north is home to vast forests, but most of the kingdom is sprinkled with farmland, woods, small towns, and minor tributaries. Bounded in the south by the Misty River and the Crystal Sea. A former part of the Therosian Empire.

Capital: Shieldfast, but two centuries ago during the Velenet Dynasty it was Highport

Notable locations: Highport, Darwich, Alenford, the Sapphire Sea, the Kirdalin River, Stormcliff Waterfall, the Misty River

Population: 80% human, 10% dwarf, assorted halflings, gnomes, and elves

Alignment: Mostly good and neutral

Governance: Absolute monarchy, King Keslin the 4th of House Perthius and his Queen Araminta the Fair 

Economy: Farming, wool production/weaving, timber, mining, metalworking, granite, marble, bricks, pottery 

Law: Most crimes are punished with fines. Corporal and capital punishment are also used. Imprisonment is less common.

Military: Dozens of large castles and almost a hundred small castles. The royal army is supplemented by the knights and men-at-arms of the great houses. Renowned for its longbowmen and rangers.
